Mostly I love this time of year. My only hangup, and it's a big one, are the flying daddy long legs. I can deal with spiders but not long legged things that fly.
We visited the Cotswolds on Monday to explore the villages that my family came from. This organ was in one of the churches, Pebworth I think. I have given it a slightly different look.
Thanks to Rugbys Parks Dept. We have this beautiful park to enjoy. We walked through on the way home this morning, and..I just happened to have my camera.
My lovely Roses continue to bloom. This one has the softest perfume, not something I notice with many Roses these days. The bee's can always be found in these as they open.
This little fellow was being invited to be a playmate for my cat and her friend. I declined the invite on the frogs behalf, removed the cat, found the camera, took a photo, and showed him the way home.
This little spider has been intent on having it's own web address..lol, in my kitchen. This was it's most recent attempt. The web was between the ceiling the cooker, the most intricate part nearest the door handle.
These beautiful flowers are just going over now. I think they must have enjoyed our summer despite the mixed weather. I have not seen them looking as good before.
I love Dover's copyright free images. So many books to choose from and many more creative possibilities. History costume is something that I find fascinating. If you would like the .psp version of this, click Here
My drawings that I did back in my college days, look tatty. Little by little i have scanned and cleaned them up, given them a facelift. Who remembers 'curls on top' lol...
Looking out my window this morning I can see the trees taking on their splendid Autumn colours. There is a fresh nip in the early morning air. A wonderful season and I love it.
I am hooked on my families history and it's such a fascinating experience. In July I met a cousin I did not know I had. Dawn has a big family of her own, both here and in Australia. Her brother Desmond has been researching the family for the best part of 20 years and I am so grateful to him for sharing his Gedcom. Since uploading it to Genes Reunited, I have been able to continue to add to it.
